Many Of These Miracles Of Jesus Actually Tell Us What I Am Explaining In An Inclusive Fashion. While I am taking many of the miracles of Jesus to prove this point, many of the discussions surrounding the miracles as stated in scripture tell us the meaning. It has been right in front of us all along. Yet now, we will in a systematic way, present the “Hidden Prophetic Message Of The Miracles Of God Done Through Jesus.” At the very least, we can see a divine parallel looking back. Though I would say that during the time the miracles were being performed, they revealed a prophetic understanding of what Jesus was doing, was going to do, and what our Christian life would be like. Miracles & Prophetic Mysteries Revealed
prophetic mysteries of the miracles of Jesus
As we begin, we will need to open ourselves to prophetic symbolism. Like in Daniel 7:23 “So he said: ‘The fourth animal will be a fourth kingdom on the earth.” If we can understand the symbolism that God uses to foretell events. We can proceed fairly easy and get to the bottom of these beautiful prophetic messages in the miracles of Jesus. This study is for more advanced students of scripture, those ready to go deeper than surface level. If you find yourself not there yet, have no fear; come back to this study at a later date. For the rest of us, buckle up for some truly amazing insight that I believe God has revealed for the body of Christ to finally receive.

Disclaimer: This is my first attempt at codifying this concept and thesis. It will be introductory in its depth, and cover as much ground as possible, and as fast as possible, to prove the validity of the presentation. I am open to revision and adaptation in further study, as this is fully unpacked and revealed. To put it simply- it’s a work in progress. This is step one of many parts to come.

–The Applied Concept: The Revelation Of the Work Of God.-
John 9:1-6 “As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. (2) His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” (3) Jesus answered, “Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him. (4) I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work. (5) While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (6) When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud, (7) and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.”

We will start these studies with the belief and understanding that the miracles done by God through Jesus, are to reveal the works of God planed for the time of Jesus and His children afterwards. Our premise stands that what has been included in scripture are handpicked by God to not only show His power, but to reveal deeper insight into the work of heaven upon earth. We know this is true from the following verse:
John 20:30-31 “Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. (31) But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”

Therefore, we know what has been written is on purpose and it has a specific goal for their inclusion into the Bible. Nothing in the Bible is by chance and without meaning. It is our pleasure in the Holy Spirit to unravel and reveal it. Praise God.
Isaiah 46:10 “I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.”

The following miracles in the studies we will cover are not placed in chronological order; they are organized by concept and idea. This is done to best lay out the prophetic view we are taking.

~ Miracle: Water To Wine ~
John 2:6-11 “Now standing there were six stone water jars used for the Jewish rites of purification, each one holding from 20 to 30 gallons. (7) Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. (8) Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the man in charge of the banquet.” So they did. (9) When the man in charge of the banquet tasted the water that had become wine (without knowing where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew), he called for the bridegroom (10) and told him, “Everyone serves the best wine first, and the cheap kind when people are drunk. But you have kept the best wine until now!” (11) Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.”

In this Prophetic Miracle, Jesus is declaring the true witness of the Kingdom of God has come to earth. Let’s unlock the hidden truth being revealed:
3 That Bear Witness: Spirit, Water, and the Blood.
1 John 5:7-8 “For there are three who testify: (8) the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.”

Now we will show how all three of these witnesses are represented at this miracle.
- The Spirit: Jesus is the spirit that is present as we read.
Colossians 2:9-10 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (10) And you are complete in Him, who is the Head of all principality and power,”

- The Water Is Obvious.
John 2:6 “Now standing there were six stone water jars used for the Jewish rites of purification, each one holding from 20 to 30 gallons”

- The Blood
John 2:6a “When the man in charge of the banquet tasted the water that had become wine….”

We know that Jesus used wine to represent His Blood.
Matthew 26:27-29 “He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it, (28) for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins. (29) But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

Now with this in mind, let’s read the following verses:
1 John 5:6-8 “This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. (7) For there are three who testify: (8) the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.”

As we can clearly see the prophetic parallel in the miracle of Jesus, foretelling the spiritual truth about Jesus and His ministry. This first miracle is a declaration of witness to the work of God that is about to commence, while hidden within the act of facilitating a wedding feast and keeping the 5th commandment to honor your Mother and Father. Jesus declares it has begun and it will continue from here on out. There is literally no turning back from His earthly ministry. Jesus has declared three witnesses upon the earth and they have all agreed, physically and spiritually.

Compared To The Lord’s Supper
prophetic mysteries of the miracles of Jesus
We can continue to draw even more parallels here from the start and end of the ministry of Jesus. Jesus started His ministry and closed out His ministry with wine, water, and His Spirit. The following supports our conclusion as presented above:

Wine = Blood
- At The Wedding Feast
John 2:6a “When the man in charge of the banquet tasted the water that had become wine….”
- At The Lord’s Supper
Matthew 26:27-28 “He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it, (28) for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.”

Water = Purification
- At The Wedding Feast
John 2:6-12 “Now standing there were six stone water jars used for the Jewish rites of purification, each one holding from 20 to 30 gallons.”
- At The Lord’s Supper
John 13:4-5 “He rose up from supper and laid aside His garments. And He took a towel and girded Himself. (5) After that He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.”

The water jars of purification that Jesus used to turn water into wine, representing His blood, is a strong symbol of the work of the purification by the blood of Jesus.
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
prophetic mysteries of the miracles of Jesus
The Jews used the water jars for ritual purification for eating, cleaning pots, hands, feet, and sometimes the entire body. Here we have Jesus purifying His disciple in what amounts to a mini baptism, to clean the spiritual dirt from walking the earth.
John 13:9-10 “Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!” (10) Jesus said to him, “Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

Supporting Verses Of Purification.
Psalms 51:7 “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Acts 22:16 “And now what do you intend? Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”
John 3:5 “Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
prophetic mysteries of the miracles of Jesus
We can clearly see the connection from the start and finish of Jesus’ ministry and His work. Like a thread connecting the moments- The Spirit, Water, and The Blood declare the truth as witness upon the earth. From the beginning and to the end of His ministry, we can see this miracle of water into wine is far deeper than first glance. It bears great power and has more mystery in it than a simple trick with drinks. We find the microcosm of the path of salvation.

So, What’s The Prophetic Chain of Event?
– Purified with water in the vessels of purification used for ritual washing, turned into wine in the power of the Spirit in Christ Jesus.
– Representing the three witnesses that agree: the spirit, water, and the blood.
– The wine now representing the blood of Jesus, given to the wedding party to fulfill the tradition of the wedding feast without failure or incursion.
– Spiritually speaking, sanctifying the entire wedding party to the culmination of the wedding vows. Representing the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Let’s Cap It Off With The Following:

We can clearly see and understand the Water to Wine miracle at the marriage party foretells of not just the beginning, but also the outcome of Jesus’ ministry. We will use the following verse to wrap it all up nice and neat with a bow:

Jesus Said:
Matthew 22:2 “The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.”

The Outcome:
Revelation 19:6-9 “And I heard as the sound of a great multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigns! (7) Let us be glad and rejoice and we will give glory to Him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has prepared herself. (8) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. (9) And he said to me, Write, Blessed are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God.”

The Situation We Are Now In.
Matthew 22:1-14 “Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying, (2) “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son, (3) and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come. (4) Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!”’ (5) But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise, (6) and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them. (7) When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. (8) “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy. (9) Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’ (10) Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests. (11) But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing, (12) and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless. (13) Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’ (14) For many are called, but few chosen.”

Then, How Did Those Accepted To The Party Get Dressed For The Wedding Party?
Revelation 7:12-15 “saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (13) One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?” (14) I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. (15) Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.”

Those Clothed Will Have Their Fill At This Everlasting Celebration.
Just as Jesus did not allow the wedding party to end by the wine running out, here we see again the never-ending bountiful supply at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Revelation 7:16-17 “They will never be hungry, neither thirsty anymore; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat; (17) for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

One Last Bonus: Saving The Best For Last.
It’s just like Jesus that our end will be better than our beginning. What Adam and Eve lost in the garden, we will gain back 100 fold in the new heavens and new earth. The Spiritual wine provided by God and Jesus, superior in every way. The new heavens, the new earth, and regeneration will be profound and permanent.
John 2:10 “and told him, “Everyone serves the best wine first, and the cheap kind when people are drunk. But you have kept the best wine until now!”

The Best Wine Is To Come,
Mark 14:24-25 “He said to them, “This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many. (25) I tell you the truth, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

The Best Is Yet To Come,
Job 8:5-7 “But if you will look to God, and make your supplication to the Almighty, (6) if you become pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself for you, and will restore your righteous home. (7) Your beginning will seem so small, since your future will flourish.”
Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. (12) When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers. (13) When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul,”

In this introductory review of the “Prophetic Mysteries Hidden In The Miracles of Jesus”, we have started what will become a multi-part study showing that the entire plan of salvation and walk of all Christians has been mapped out in the miracles of Jesus. We covered how the spirit, water, and the blood were fully represented by and through Jesus at the marriage party in Cana. We have drawn the parallels with a silver cord to the Lord’s Supper, then onto the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. In our next study, we will cover the miracles of walking on water and calming the storm.
