Matthew 10:34-39 “Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.  (35)  For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  (36)  A man’s foes will be those of his own household.  (37)  He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.  (38)  He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me, isn’t worthy of me.  (39)  He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.”

One more restoration moment for Woman. Just like last week we talked about the comparison of Eve and Mary, how Mary was key to the fulfillment of the promise given to Eve; Mary bringing the Messiah into this world through her womb; God birthing the Life Giver through her. Restoring the blessed role Eve was supposed to carry as the mother of all living; Mary being the mother of the Life Giver. We find another restoration given to women. As Eve brought death to Adam by sharing the forbidden fruit, Mary Magdalene brings the news of the first fruit of resurrection to the disciples.

Mark 16:9 “Early on the first day of the week, after he arose, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had driven out seven demons.”

John 20:11-18 “But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,  (12)  and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

(13)  They asked her, “#1 Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”  (14)  When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and didn’t know that it was Jesus.

(15)  Jesus said to her, “#2 Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”

(16)  Jesus said to her, “#3 Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni!” which is to say, “Teacher!”  (17)  Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers, and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

(18)  Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.”

We talked about how Seth was appointed by God to replace Abel. Let’s have a little closer look at a couple of words that really unlocks this for us. We will find in one verse that it says the same thing in three different ways. Mind you, when you see something in the Bible like “Holy, Holy, Holy”, it means to the upmost highest degree possible. Like in the following verse:

Revelation 4:8  “The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”

So, let’s reread the verse we are covering:

Genesis 4:25  “And Adam knew his wife again. And she bore a son, and called his name (#1) Seth. For she said, God has (#2) appointed me another seed (#3) instead of Abel, because Cain killed him.”

So, for those who may doubt that Seth’s line was set in place by God to replace the line of Abel, we have it to the utmost and highest possible degree as spoken by Scripture. Three times in one statement- there is no doubt!

Now, let’s pull it all together that there are two bloodlines and two spiritual lines in the Bible, and that God Himself divided them from the womb of Eve as we read here:

Division “Spiritually & Physically”

Genesis 3:15-16 “I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”

Division Spiritually

1 Corinthians 15:21-22 “For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.  (22)  For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.”

Division Physically

1 John 3:11-12 “For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;  (12)  unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.”

Hebrews 11:4 “By faith, Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, God testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.”

Revelation 12:9 “The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

John 8:44 “You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Genesis 49:10 “The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.”

Matthew 3:7-12 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, “You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  (8)  Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!  (9)  Don’t think to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.  (10)  “Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.  (11)  I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.  (12)  His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.”

Romans 10:11-13 “For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”  (12)  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.  (13)  For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

1 John 2:23 “Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.”

Mark 3:32-35 “A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.”  (33)  He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”  (34)  Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!  (35)  For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”

Matthew 10:34-39 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.  (35)  For I have come to set a man against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  (36)  And a man’s foes shall be those of his own household.  (37)  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  (38)  And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.  (39)  He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake shall find it.”

Matthew 25:31-34+41 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.  (32)  Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  (33)  He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  (34)  Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;… Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;”

Matthew 24:29-31  “But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;  (30)  and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.  (31)  He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”

We are told those who rebel against God are going the way of Cain. As we know, the Cain bloodline both physically and spiritually is doomed for judgment.

Jude 1:8-16 “Yet in the same way, these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings.  (9)  But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”  (10)  But these speak evil of whatever things they don’t know. They are destroyed in these things that they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason.  (11)  Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in Korah’s rebellion.  (12)  These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;  (13)  wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.  (14)  About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,  (15)  to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”  (16)  These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks proud things), showing respect of persons to gain advantage.”

Again, The Wicked Lost Are Compared to Cain. Notice the use of “brother” and Cain and Abel throughout. Are we not all related brothers and sisters? Yet, the true brothers are of Abel/Seth/ & Jesus. Both physically and spiritually- at least spiritually grafted in through faith in Jesus.

1 John 3:11-16 “For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;  (12)  not as Cain who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. And for what did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s things were righteous.  (13)  Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.  (14)  We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.  (15)  Everyone hating his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.  (16)  By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.”

Matthew 24:36-42 “But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  (37)  “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  (38)  For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship,  (39)  and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  (40)  Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.  (41)  Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.  (42)  Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.”

Matthew 24:40 “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.”

John 10:10 “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy [Cain/Satan]. I [Abel/Seth/Jesus] came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”

Matthew 13:37-40  “He answered them, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,  (38)  the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.  (39)  The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.  (40)  As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.”

Matthew 13:41-43  “The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity,  (42)  and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth.  (43)  Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Here again we can see the prophetic connection to the death of Abel. They are in a field, first murdered person on the earth, one righteous- representing Jesus and His followers, the other one unrighteous- representing Satan and his followers. The laborers in the world represent one working for God, and the other working against Him.

Genesis 4:8 “Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.”

  • What about the women, what do they represent? The Gospel Message & Acceptable Offering Before God. The True and the False Religions. The Real Pure Church and the Fake Church. The Two Spiritual Bloodlines.

Matthew 24:41 “Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.”

Revelation 12:1-2+5 “A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.  (2)  She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth. + Revelation 12:5  She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.”

Revelation 17:3-6 “He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.  (4)  The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.  (5)  And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”  (6)  I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.”

John 6:35 “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

The Pure, Undefiled Woman (True Church) is grinding grain. The Defiled Woman (Fake Church) is trying to pollute the work of the Gospel by the first woman.

Genesis 4:2-5 “Again she gave birth, to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.  (3)  As time passed, Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground.  (4)  Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,  (5)  but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49 “So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.  (46)  However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.  (47)  The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.  (48)  As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.  (49)  As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s also bear the image of the heavenly.”

Matthew 13:24-30  “He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,  (25)  but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds also among the wheat, and went away.  (26)  But when the blade sprang up and produced fruit, then the darnel weeds appeared also.  (27)  The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’  (28)  “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’  (29)  “But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them.  (30)  Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”

We have covered a lot of connection from Eve to Mary, Abel and Seth to Jesus, and the throne of David. In all this, we are left with the indisputable fact: There are two bloodlines, physical and spiritual- that of Cain and Satan, or Abel and Jesus. These bloodlines help unlock many other topics, like Angels mating with humans, and familial intimate relationships and if they ever happened like some think in the Bible.
