The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
In Part 1, we asked, “Was this ‘BIRTH’ pain just physical, or prophetic and emotional?” More directly, was God telling Eve that the children she would bear would bring pain to her heart? What about the heart of the mother of the Messiah?
This birth pain was obviously more than just physical; it was mental, emotional, and spiritual also. Yes, I do believe God was telling Eve that the children she currently bore were going to pierce her heart, and the hearts of humanity. We need to answer the prophetic connection and the heart of Mary, the mother of the Messiah. Then we will continue on to show the spiritual split in the bloodlines of creation.

We will begin by comparing Eve and Mary, pointing out their similarities as mothers. We will then focus on their connection to the Messiah through the preferred bloodline, as chosen by God.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Eve Blessed As The First Women
Genesis 2:20-25 “And Adam gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every animal of the field. But there was not found a suitable helper for Adam. (21) And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh underneath. (22) And Jehovah God made the rib (which He had taken from the man) into a woman. And He brought her to the man. (23) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of man. (24) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh. (25) And they were both naked, the man and his wife; and they were not ashamed.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Mary Blessed Among Women
Luke 1:41-42 “And it happened as Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, (42) and cried out with a loud voice and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Eve Mother Of All Living
Genesis 3:20 “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Mary Mother Of The Lord, Who is Lord Over All Those Who Are Truly Living
Luke 1:41-43 “And it happened as Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary,…. (43) And from where is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.”
Luke 20:38 “For He is not God of the dead, but of the living. For all live to Him.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Motherhood Connection
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
This is where, as we covered before, Eve was saved through her children bearing the Messiah. As we know, it was Mary who bore Jesus.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
1 Timothy 2:13-15 “For Adam was first formed, then Eve. (14) Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman (Eve), being deceived, has fallen into disobedience; (15) but she (Eve) will be saved through her childbearing, if they (Woman) continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- The Pain Of Eve
Genesis 3:16 “To the woman He said, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception. In pain you shall bear sons, and your desire shall be toward your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- The Pain Of Mary
Luke 2:33-35 “Joseph and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him, (34) and Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother, “Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against. (35) Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
As we can see, the curse on Eve was much more than the present physical difficulties of bearing children. It was a far reaching mental, emotional, and spiritual pain. It would affect the mother of the Messiah and all those who would follow Him.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Split Of The Two Blood Lines
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
In Part 1, we asked: “Was the division of the offspring just Spiritual, or was it Physical and more immediate concerning her own condition?”
We started to answer that with yes, it was a physical division and spiritual division. We will continue to provide answers to this question in a most profound way. In this division, we will find the grand restoration for Adam. Just like Eve’s descendants would bring about the Messiah, namely Mary. Adam was given not only Jesus to restore what he lost, yet a more immediate restoration that would bring about that very same Messiah.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Two Spiritual Bloodlines: Adam Or Jesus
1 Corinthians 15:45-49 “So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (46) However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. (47) The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven. (48) As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. (49) As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s also bear the image of the heavenly.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Two Physical Bloodlines: Cain or Abel
The Bloodline Of Cain: Sinful And Satanic
Satan, Murderer From The Beginning
John 8:44 “You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Cain, First Murderer
1 John 3:11-12 “For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; (12) unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Bloodline Of Abel: Righteous And Christ-Like
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Jesus, The Good Shepherd
John 10:7-11 “Then Jesus said to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. (8) All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. (9) I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. (10) The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (11) I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Abel, Also A Shepherd
Hebrews 11:4 “By faith, Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, God testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.”
Hebrews 12:24 “to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
As we are learning about the two physical and spiritual bloodlines of creation, we must continue the story onward. We now know that Cain was of the devil, and that Cain represented fallen humanity. That Abel was of God and represented the spiritually righteous before God. We learned that Abel and his sacrifices represented [prophetically] the life of Jesus, as being the perfect sacrifice. Now that Abel was murdered, how then did this split of the bloodlines continue on? God restored Abel’s Blood Line in a physical way by his parents, and spiritually by his descendants.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Two Branches Of The Family Tree
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Adam – Eve – Cain – His Children – (Canceled)
Adam – Eve – Abel (Restored) – By Abel’s Brother Seth – Then To Jesus
Seth Was God’s Gift To Adam To Replace Righteous Abel.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Genesis 4:25 “And Adam knew his wife again. And she bore a son, and called his name Seth. For she said, God has appointed me another seed instead of Abel, because Cain killed him.”
Did you notice that not only was Seth a replacement for Abel since he was murdered, but that the line of Seth was appointed? If I said that I have appointed you to this office in our company, you would understand what I meant. You did not have a certain title, and then you were given a certain title. Seth was appointed to fulfill the life of Abel. From this line God will bring about the Messiah. Abel being a pre-fall conception, and then post-fall birthed. With Seth, we move to post-fall conception, and post-fall birth. Yet, the division as placed upon the two lines continued on.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Genesis 3:15-16 “I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”
This division had to continue and the two bloodlines, both physically and spiritually, will continue to be at odds with each other. From this line of Seth, the Messiah would come. The bloodline of rebellious Cain would continue on physically for a time, and spiritually in the disobedient followers of Satan. So, God had cut off Cain’s blood line, even though he was the first born of post-fall children. Cain’s bloodline would not be part of the plan of salvation. It was then appointed to Seth to continue the path of righteousness in Abel’s absence. Giving Seth the title appointed position of Abel. So as we see, Adam is replaced by Jesus. Cain replaced by Abel, with Seth appointed as his successor.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- God Never Forgot Abel’s Sacrifice.
Hebrews 11:4 “By faith, Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, God testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.”
Psalms 116:15 “Precious in Yahweh’s sight is the death of his saints.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Bloodline Of The Messiah
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
In Genesis 4, You Find The Lineage Of Cain.
In Genesis 5, You Find The Lineage Of Seth. From Adam, Seth, To Noah.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
The Accepted Branch Of The Messiah
Adam – Eve – Abel (Restored) – By Abel’s Brother Seth – Then To Jesus
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
If we look in the Gospel of Luke, we find that the Messiah comes from the lineage of Seth- the replacement of Abel, not Cain.
Luke 3:36-38 “the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech, (37) the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan, (38) the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Luke brings Jesus’ lineage from Joseph, the husband of Mary, all the way back to Seth and then Adam. Yet you would say, but wait Lance, Joseph was not Jesus’ Dad, as God was His Dad. That is correct. Yet, Luke rightly brings forth the correct line of children. It is Seth, not Cain, which we are to trace the Messiah back to. And remember, Seth replaced Abel, who represented Jesus from the very start. On top of this, we find in the Gospel of Matthew 1:1-16, another genealogy.
First, the Luke Genealogy was to show his connection to all humanity. It is actually believed to be the lineage of Mary, as it traces Jesus’ ancestry though Nathan, son of David. It starts with Joseph (as women were not named in genealogies normally.) In Luke 3:23, it says Joseph was the son of Heli, meaning Son-in-Law of “Heli”, the father of Mary.
Matthew’s genealogy was to show his royal heritage and right to be Messiah through David. This is believed to be Joseph’s actual ancestry, as it starts with David and ends with Joseph. As Matthew 1:16 says that “Jacob” Fathered Joseph, the husband of Mary. Unlike Luke’s, that points to Mary through her father Heli.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Both Genealogies Connect To David
Why is this connection so important? It is the direct fulfillment of the promise and prophecy declaring the chosen blood line of the Messiah.
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
Luke 1:31-32 “Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and give birth to a son, and will call his name ‘Jesus.’ (32) He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David,”
Acts 2:29-32 “Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. (30) Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, (31) he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay. (32) This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Matthew’s Starts From David to Abraham
Matthew 1:1 “A roll of the birth of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham.”
Then Gives The Genealogy in Order
Matthew 1:2 “Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.”
Matthew 1:6 “Jesse became the father of King David. David became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Matthew Connected To David Through Solomon.
Matthew 1:6 “Jesse became the father of King David. David became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Luke Goes Right For It & Gives The Entire Line.
Luke 3:32 “the son of David, the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Booz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,”
Luke 3:34 “the son of Judah, the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- Luke Connects To David Through Nathan.
Luke 3:31 “the son of Melea, the son of Menan, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David,”
From all this, we clearly see that the line of Cain is missing, replaced with the line of Seth- the appointed heir after Abel. Then, going back to Adam and then God Himself. We also see that the line of David came from Seth also, and upon the throne of David, Jesus will sit forever!
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- We Find This Seth Connection Again In The Old Testament.
1 Chronicles 1:1-4 “Adam, Seth, Enos, (2) Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jered, (3) Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, (4) Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”
The Two Bloodlines Of Creation
- In The New Testament We Find Again, The Connection Through Shem, Then To Noah. Back to Seth.
The appointed line of Seth, restoring the lineage of Abel, clearly shows it is through this line that the Messiah, Jesus the Christ, has come forth. It is through the line of Mary that Jesus has His connection back to Seth and to Adam. It is through the line of Joseph, for political reasons, He has the right to sit on the throne of David. Both give Him the spiritual and physical right to rule. So we see, the chosen blood and spiritual bloodline finds it completion through Jesus. All s are grafted into this line by faith in Jesus.
