As we can clearly see, God wants us all to be rich beyond our imaginations. Yet, what the world declares are riches and are worth having, the God that already owns everything laughs at the petty attempt to accumulate what is already owned by Him. God values the things of the spirit. The real riches are to know Him, have eternal life, sacrificial love, and to understand His ways. These things are rare precious treasures that must be given to you by God. When you have those riches you, by default, will inherit all other riches. So, as we are Escaping Babylon and feel the pull of deceitful riches and the love of money, remember that these things are pocket lint to God. The real value is found in the deep mysteries of God and what He desires to share with you: Himself! Don’t settle for anything less.
