In this verse, we are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem for the sake of the house of God, not for Israel in general. Peace is requested for those who love God to prosper, and for the Temple’s sake. This is not for Israel the nation, nor for people who do not love God or value God.
How can you love God, if you do not love His Son? For their rebellion, we told in scripture to not pray for them. God will not hear these prayers because of their rebellion and sin.
