With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.  (3)  One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”  (4)  The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.”

Now that we know what God is doing with our Praise, we can ask the following: What is God doing with the glory due Him? Why does He require it, and why do we need to be doing things that give it to Him?

In “The Hidden Power Of Praise- Part 1”, We Asked The Following Question:

• How Do We Praise God In His Heavens?

Psalms 150:1-6 “Praise Yah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power!”

To Answer That Question, We Need To Set The Table And Get Some Foundational Information Laid Out First. So, let us begin…

About God And Receiving Glory: God is not idolizing Himself, for the sake of ego and status. God knows that He is the answer to the cure to the failed existence of the universe and He must be magnified to hold it together and the destruction of it at bay. As we know, the fall of humanity started with Satan lying about God’s Character. When Satan was deceiving God’s children, he was attacking directly the Glory of God and who He truly is. To not only attack God as a usurper, but to also bring the entirety of creation to destruction.

• Satan Deceived Man.

Genesis 3:4-5  “The serpent said to the woman, “You won’t really die,  (5)  for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

• Satan Deceived 1/3 of the Angels Of Heaven.

Revelation 12:4+9 “His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.” (9)  The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

With the above, we can start to understand why God desires and requires glory. The entire fall of humanity and creation started with an attack upon God’s character. This goal was to separate the created from their creator, and to ignore the source of their entire existence.

• God Guaranteeing The Glorifying Of His Name.

-The Universe ~

Psalms 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays his handiwork.”

-The Earth ~

Isaiah 6:3 “One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”  

– The Courts Of Heaven ~

Revelation 4:2-11 “Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne  (3)  that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.  (4)  Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.  (5)  Out of the throne proceed lightning’s, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.  (6)  Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.  (7)  The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.  (8)  The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”  (9)  When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,  (10)  the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying,  (11)  “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

Why is God’s glory so important? Why is it so necessary? We just read that God is worthy of glory, honor, and praise because He CREATED. He not only created it all, He is currently sustaining it all. Without this assistance by its Creator, all of creation would be destroyed. That includes all that resides in it.

• God Holds All things Together.

2 Peter 3:5 “For this is hidden from them by their willing it, that the heavens were of old, and the earth out of the water, and through water, being held together by the Word of God,”

Colossians 1:17 “He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.”

Since God holds all things together by the power of His word, God desires to be glorified and receive the glory He deserves, knowing that He is the source of all creation and the power that allows it to exist. To defeat the virus of sin that is trying to destroy the mainframe software of creation, His glory and power is the answer to stall the virus long enough to save His children out of the world. Then He will destroy it. God desires glory, not just because He deserves it, but He requires it to continue to hold back the affects of sin long enough to save His children, to save you.

• Creation Is A Perverted Mess, Convulsing From The Affects of Sin.

Romans 8:19-22 “For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.  (20)  For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God who subjected it – in hope  (21)  that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.  (22)  For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.”

• One Day He Will Make It New Again. But Until Then, He is Sustaining It To Finish The Plan Of Salvation.

Isaiah 65:17 “For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore.”

2 Peter 3:13 “But, according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides.”

• The Children Will Remain Forever In The New Creation.

Isaiah 66:22 “For just as the new heavens and the new earth I am about to make will remain standing before me,” says the LORD, “so your descendants and your name will remain.”

• But Until Then, The Children Of God Remain In This Fallen Creation And It Must Be Sustained Until The Day Of Redemption.

John 17:4-6 “I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.  (5)  And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.  (6)  “I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word.” 

John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.  (19)  If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

This is also why I believe the Devil so hates us worshiping God in spirit and truth, as he knows the power of our allegiance to God and the praise power it releases. He is not just trying to destroy God by hurting His ego through depriving Him glory; he is trying to destroy the source of the power that brings salvation, a simple yet profound difference. Satan wants to remove the glory for God out of the hearts of men’s very soul. Knowing that by doing this, it will release the wrath of God. The righteousness of God requires the obliteration of sin and all that taints it. It Is The Worship And Glory That Holds At Bay The Judgment Of God. God longs and looks for reasons to stay the day of wrath for His children to be saved.

Isaiah 43:6-7  “I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—  (7)  everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”

1 Peter 2:3-5+9 “If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious:  (4)  coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.  (5)  You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. + (9)  But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:”

Matthew 5:16  Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

• The Goal Of Jesus Was To Glorify God’s Name!

John 12:28 “Father, glorify Your name! Then there came a voice from the heaven saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”

John 17:1 “Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you;”

Romans 15:5-9  “Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,  (6)  that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (7)  Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.  (8)  Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,  (9)  and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. The End Times

Why God Requires And Desire Glory

The Failure To Give God Glory Is A Key Theme To The End Of Time. More Than That, I Dare Say It Is The Very Reason For It! When The Glory Of God Is No Longer Given, This Fallen Creation Will Be Destroyed.

There comes a day when the last soul that is to be born on Earth comes into this realm. God knows how many people He is going to allow to be created, and when the last one will come. This final soul, unknown to humanity, is a harbinger of the end of time. It will be the last soul that has the potential to give Him glory or not.

Matthew 24:35-36 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.  (36)  But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

• We Should Look At The Some Key Concepts As To Why The End Has Come.

-Depriving God Of Worship And Glory.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4  “Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,  (2)  that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.  (3)  Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,  (4)  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.”

-Destruction Of The Truth, Depriving God Glory.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12  “For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.  (8)  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,  (9)  whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  (10)  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.  (11)  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,  (12)  so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.”

• The Refusal To Give God Glory Is a Central Theme To The End Times.

Revelation 16:9 “And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, He having authority over these plagues. And they did not repent in order to give Him glory.”

• The Attempted Destruction Of The Work Of Jesus That Gives God Glory!

1 John 2:18-19 “Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.  (19)  They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.”

Matthew 24:3-14 “As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”  (4)  Jesus answered them, “Watch out that no one misleads you.  (5)  For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many.  (6)  You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Make sure that you are not alarmed, for this must happen, but the end is still to come.  (7)  For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  (8)  All these things are the beginning of birth pains.  (9)  “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. You will be hated by all the nations because of my name.  (10)  Then many will be led into sin, and they will betray one another and hate one another.  (11)  And many false prophets will appear and deceive many,  (12)  and because lawlessness will increase so much, the love of many will grow cold.  (13)  But the person who endures to the end will be saved.  (14)  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

2 John 1:7 “For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who don’t confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the Antichrist.”

It is the destruction of the Truth about the real Jesus that the Antichrist seeks to remove from the earth, and then take His place as the false Christ. This way again to stop humanity from giving God glory through accepting the sacrifice of His Son, which is the most profound Act Of Love.

1 John 2:22-23 “Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.  (23)  Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.”

1 John 4:2-3 “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,  (3)  and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.”

• By Denying Jesus, They Are Denying Not Only God, But His Love. Thus, Refusing To Glorify Him.

1 John 4:15-16 “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.  (16)  We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.”

• As We See Here, The Final Beast Seeks To Obliterate All Worship Of God, To Prevent Him From Receiving Any Glory.

Revelation 13:11-18 “And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.  (12)  And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those dwelling in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  (13)  And it does great wonders, so that it makes fire come down from the heaven onto the earth in the sight of men.  (14)  And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived.  (15)  And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.  (16)  And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads,  (17)  even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.  (18)  Here is the wisdom. Let him having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. And its number is six hundred and sixty-six.”

• The Devil Knows That Those Who Die Do Not Glorify God.

Isaiah 38:18-19 “For Sheol can’t praise you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can’t hope for your truth.  (19)  The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do today. The father shall make known your truth to the children.”

Once the children of God are fully separated, murdered, and persecuted by the Beast, there will remain nothing else to prevent the full execution of God’s righteous wrath upon the earth.

• Jesus Gives Us Clues Of What Brings These Events About.

Matthew 24:36-37 “But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  (37)  “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

How Was It In The Days Of Noah?- They no longer gave God glory. This meaning that their hearts and minds were filled with sin, and no longer had any room for glorifying God in their thoughts and hearts.

Genesis 6:5-8 “Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.  (6)  Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.  

(7)  Yahweh said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground—man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky—for I am sorry that I have made them.”  (8)  But Noah found favor in Yahweh’s eyes.”

NO GLORY – THEN KNOW WRATH

• SO…. The WRATH Of GOD

Satan wants to remove the glory for God out of the hearts of men’s very soul- to obliterate it off the face of the earth. Satan, knowing that by doing this, will release the wrath of God upon all of creation. As he knows his time is already short, so he is enraged with suicidal vengeance. I often believe this was Satan’s plan the entire time, trying to get God to compete against Himself: His love vs His Just Righteousness. Thanks to the plan of salvation with Jesus, He has failed.

Revelation 12:12 “Therefore you heavens rejoice, and all who reside in them! But woe to the earth and the sea because the devil has come down to you! He is filled with terrible anger, for he knows that he only has a little time!”

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

As the falling away comes and mankind’s hearts grow Cold, and no longer love God or their fellow man, the sustaining glory from man to God that is protecting His creation will diminish to such a point that His righteousness will require justice through purification.

• The Body Of Christ Is Not Immune To The Rejection Of God.

What makes this even worse, is just like in the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Adam and Eve to disobey and rebel against God. The same thing is happening at the end of time: The children of God giving up their salvation and their job of glorifying God willingly, being consumed by desires, deceit, and lust for more, becoming lovers of pleasure, more than lovers of God. See: 2 Timothy 3:4

Luke 18:6-8 “And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says!  (7)  Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?  (8)  I tell you, he will give them justice speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Mark 13:19-23 “For in those days there will be suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, or ever will happen.  (20)  And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them short.  (21)  Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe him.  (22)  For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.  (23)  Be careful! I have told you everything ahead of time.”

1 Timothy 4:1-3 “But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,  (2)  speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience,  (3)  forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.”

• Then Wrath Will Come Full Course From The Hand Of God.

Jeremiah 25:15-17 “For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says to me: “Take this cup of the wine of wrath from my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.  (16)  They will drink, and reel back and forth, and be insane, because of the sword that I will send among them.”  (17)  Then took I the cup at Yahweh’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Yahweh had sent me:”

Revelation 16:17-21 “The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”  (18)  There were lightning’s, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.  (19)  The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.  (20)  Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.  (21)  Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.”

Revelation 14:9-13  “Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,  (10)  he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.  (11)  The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.  (12)  Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”  (13)  I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.”

Romans 1:18-25 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness,  (19)  because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  (20)  For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.  (21)  For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened.” (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.  (24)  Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;  (25)  who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Some Vessels Of Glory Will Remain Forever

Why God Requires And Desire Glory

Yet, there will remain some, even preserved through death that will rise once again to glorify His name for all eternity.

Revelation 15:2-4 “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire. And those who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.  (3)  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty, just and true are Your ways, O King of saints.  (4)  Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteousnesses were made known.”

As we can clearly see, it is the glory we are giving to God, the glory creation gives to Him, and the glory He is receiving in Heaven that is empowering Him to sustain this fallen creation. There will be so little glory being given to God at the end of time that His righteousness will demand and allow the destruction of corrupted creation. Even in this, it is an act of love for His children.

Revelation 6:9-11 “And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held.  (10)  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?  (11)  And white robes were given to each one of them. And it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until both their fellow servants and their brothers (those about to be killed as they were ) should have their number made complete.”

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10 “This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.  (6)  Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,  (7)  and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,  (8)  punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,  (9)  who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,  (10)  when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.”

So, How Do We Praise Him In His Heavens?

Psalms 150:1-6 “Praise Yah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power!  (2)  Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him according to his excellent greatness!  (3)  Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet! Praise him with harp and lyre!  (4)  Praise him with tambourine and dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and flute!  (5)  Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with resounding cymbals!  (6)  Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!”

Our praise and its affects transcend the earthly realm, but it also empowers the throne of God. But what is really going on is much bigger than we have realized. Not that God is without power, or needs our praise and glory to have power within Himself. But in the fallen field of Battle, it is imperative to contest in these areas of conflict, much like when it said Jesus could do no works there for the lack of faith.

Matthew 13:57-58 “They were offended by him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.”  (58)  He didn’t do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

Here in the end of time, we are partnering with God in the closing of His work upon the earth. Our faith, obedient love, self sacrifice, praise, and the glory we give our Father God sustain the plan of salvation upon the earth. God desires and is requiring Glory, not just because He deserves it, but it can be thought of as currency paying for the light bill of all creation. Without God holding all things together through His grace and mercy for His creation, we are toast. If all of creation rebels and refuses to glorify Him, it will be just for Him to purify it all. So, give Him glory today and sustain the work of salvation upon the earth. The life’s of those you know and love depend upon it!
